Theatre fans around the world listen to cast recordings every day of shows they’ve never seen. But how do you balance preserving what happens onstage with making a quality album? Why aren’t all shows recorded? And how does this process differ from making a pop album? Our panel of music and theatre professionals will come together to discuss the place cast recordings (not soundtracks!) hold in both industries.
