Michael Gioia is a NYC-based writer and performer. He most recently appeared in Friends in Theater’s benefit staging of The Secret Garden, starring Rebecca Luker, in January. He has performed with NYC’s 5th Floor Productions and the Manhattan Children’s Theatre as well as at various cabaret venues, including 54 Below, where he conceived the sold-out Bitching and Belting series. He is the features manager of Playbill.com; his writing appears on Playbill.com and in the pages of Playbill Magazine.
