Stephanie Klemons is Associate Choreographer and currently the Dance Captain and swing at Broadway’s Hamilton. Stephanie is no newcomer to the Andy Blankenbuehler vocabulary, having served as Co-Dance Captain and swing for the original Broadway production of In The Heights, as well as helping to set the same production’s first national tour as Associate Choreographer. She joined Andy again to create Bring It On as Associate Choreographer for Broadway, first and second national tours. Other work includes the original Broadway cast of If/Then (dir. Michael Greif), the first national tour of Bombay Dreams (dir. Baayork Lee), and playing the role of Amma in New York Children’s Theater’s Tea With Chachaji, which she will be re-conceiving as Director and Choreographer for the New York City Children’s Theater 2016 season. Stephanie recently choreographed a Victoria’s Secret commercial with the legendary director Jeff Madoff, and serves as choreographer for the New Deco Orchestra. She has choreographed for CBS, The Joyce, and New York’s hottest dance team, NBA’s Brooklynettes.
